Life after college

Dear all,

Wondering what is this bubbly yet lively Cherie has been up to? Well life is surely exciting at this point where I finally step into another phase of life. Yes, it's the working phase of human life. After few months loitering and relaxing under the most comforting yet stress less shade of FAMA, I'm finally working as a web programmer.

Previously, during the non student non working season, I experienced a lot of stuff that I could never imagine myself having it or doing it. I'm blessed with 2 different trips to foreign country. Let's start with last December, where I travel to Singapore for a short Christmas trip. This is my 2^nd trip to Singapore but my 1^st trip travel outside Malaysia without my family. Given the chance to drive down to Singapore and drive around this beautiful city is really a good experience for me. Singapore is one of the country that I always wanted to celebrate my Christmas at. The light decoration, the shopping sales, the Christmas music, Christmas decoration and so on.. Wow anything that I want for my Christmas season is there except for the snow.
This trip I didn't get to visit Sentosa Island but I have some warm welcome from my friends in the Night Safari. Besides riding on the cho-cho train for some friend's background introduction, I get to walk in the dark safari with Christine and Daniel. With one brochure in hand, we walk every path and visited every single spesies that cho-cho train didn't cover. The house of zebras and giraffes is one of the most hidden path in the safari. Most animal are wide awake and I seriously can sense that I'm being watched by them like a food to them instead of they displaying themselves for me to view. Sweaty, sticky and smelly is the end result of journeying the whole night safari. I seriously don't mind going for the second time, good exercise and one step closer to nature.

Next day, Science Center exploration. I don't really enjoy the display and the exhibits in this science center. Maybe because I started to get bored of going science center where most of the stuff is the same. More like a refresh memory of what I know and learned about science and that's it. But I quite like the snow city. I get to enter Snow City in Singapore. Yeap yeap, surrounded with fake snow and ice in a small hall yet as cold as in the real ones. Temperature is almost below 0 celcius. Never had this feelings before but too cold to survive for long. I wonder how do people survive during winter? Even Australia pre autumn temperature I can't really stand and maybe with proper attire.

Shopping in Singapore is fun if you earn there and shop there. Not to say their clothing are cheap but at least the quality and their sales not fake. Malaysia sales is raise up the price and sales for you which sounds like a normal discount. Food there is totally hopeless. Can't survive with the crappy food there.

My friend once asked me whether will I choose to work in Singapore? After experiencing life in Singapore for this short holiday season, I choose to keep an open mind on this topic. There's for sure pros and cons in everything and it is the same apply to Singapore. Lifestyle there is stylish, classy yet a little bit of stress as everyone is trying so hard to climb the cooperate ladder. Economic there is consider better as compare to Malaysia but if I were to work there, I will have a lot of extra spending like rental, food and all where this cost is all covered back in Malaysia.

New Chapter of Life

Welcome 2009 and welcome my additional age. Haha... Sorry for P-ing so long. I am suppose to post up a post about my Christmas 2008 besides showing off my lovely home during christmas season.

Well last Christmas was really cool and busy. Honestly, December suppose to be my holiday month but I end up more busy than my college day as i have practice and shopping list to conquer and house to clean and food to search and a lot of things that occupied my "free" time. The happiest thing is I got a lof of lovely pressie this Christmas!!! I have a memorable yet beautiful watch which replace my old and going to 'kong' watch... hehe... I had mashmallow!!! Me got another cup from my lovely Form 4 CG and many more pressie which is dear to me. Oh ya, I even wore a dress... First time after so many years never do so. My last time i guess is primary school chinese new year time. Please la, school uniform not counted coz it is compulsory.

After Christmas, go Youth Camp summore. I enjoyed the camp very much. I'm arrange to stay wit Erica, Zanne, Arwyn, Beatrice and Cassandra. Although half way I need to change room.. but I didn't missed out the fun that happen in my Cg girls room. Room 306. I love the sharing, the Ah Boon, the laughing and everything we did at midnight where we suppose to be light off.. But we towel it up... Bad thing is the food there not nice at all especially the lunch and the hall is so dusty which make me cough and cough non stop until I need to sit behind alone. The sermon was awesome and strong. I learned a lot in this camp. Well having to stay wit the younger girls for the two night, help me to see back myself during their age. Plus they asked me one question which until now i dun think i can answer them still. Haha...

2009 New year, I spend time with my best PIC. We actually planned to go pasar malam then go mamak then go highway to see fireworks. But because of lateness and everything, I actually had my first ever experience which is really memorable to us. We countdown at the Pasar Malam itself. *LAME* but special. Then they overnight at my house. We start to dry swimming without any bet at first. But we find it bored so we introduce Face Painting once we lose... Haha.. Forgot to take picture. The whole session ended at 4am and suppose to wake up at 7am for some charity work. Mei Kei and Simon sleeping tightly while Nian and I was wide awake the whole night. What a torturing night, seeing them sleeping so syok but we can't fall asleep although we are tired. The next day, they went for the charity thingy and I went to wash car. Haha... Christmas Season 2008

Greetings to all..

I've been enjoying myself a lot in these wonderful period of Christmas season as this is the first time I join Christmas Carol. I enjoyed singing with a group of people as it build up our friendship and I misses it so much. I missed the time when I was in primary and I always active in participating Choirs and presentation. Hehe... I really pray that as we practice and go every corner to perform, our faith batteries is charged up and the light will shine as bright as light house to lead the people around the path plus the meaning of Christmas. Many in the world mistaken Christmas as Santa Claus going around to distribute gifts. Hello.. Malaysia does not have a chimney, continue to dream on for your Christmas gift from Santa or St.Nicholas.

Besides Caroling, I enjoy myself every night at home as I will blast all the Christmas music and on all the lighting on my Christmas tree, tv rack and stairs. Seeing the lights blinking along with the music, it warm my hearts and I love it so much. Here are some preview of my house decoration for this Christmas. I done it with the help of daddy. I love my Christmas tree decoration and all my toys. Do not look down on these toys, they might be older than YOU. Some are with me since I was less than one year old.

Lastly, is that I haven't prepare a single Christmas gifts!!! And the list of people also not yet think!! Plus my final exam paper on Friday and I haven't touch a single notes yet. Oh no... No eye see... hahaha... Shall see how all hectic schedule works out. Will update soon. Love you, virtual diary. GBU readers.
